Powered by a 8.1L (496 C.I, 550hp) Vortec V8, this monster 1978 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 goes like hell. That engine paired to a massive 4-barrel carburetor and connected to the rear wheels through a 3-speed Hurst "Dual-Gate" automatic transmission, this Z28 gets out of its own way real quickly. The car has an extremely aggressive look, owing to the cowl hood that is required to fit such a massive engine under the hood. The rear window is protected by menacing-looking fins that protrude from the rear to give the car a more athletic feel. The burgundy paint is laid out wonderfully over a straight body, and the Z28 decals look great. The matching red and black cloth interior is very comfortable and very fitting for a car this powerful, as hinted by its under-dash SunPro gauges. Options on this beast of a Camaro include a 550hp V8, a Hurst "Dual-Gate" shifter, an updated AM/FM/Cassette radio, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, under-dash SunPro gauges, and a dual exhaust system. The car rides on some mean-looking Cragar SS wheels on top of a great set of B.F. Goodrich RWL tires. This car looks like its already in motion, as if its waiting to jump into action at a moment's notice. This burgundy monster of a Camaro looks great, sounds great, and most importantly, it drives great. It is just waiting for the right person to put it back on the dragstrip!
